Evolution is one of the unifying concepts of modern biology. Explain the mechanisms that lead to the evolution
change. How do scientists use each of the following documents as evidence for evolution: c) the fossil record
Scientists look at a large number of fossils of extinct and living species and can see a mixture of gradual change and sudden. The most interesting results are "boring" species such as clams, which fossilize in sufficient numbers to make statistical analysis. Despite what the ignorant people think there are many transition forms of links, for example, hippos and cetaceans.
